Established since 2002, we work with a diverse range of clients including companies in the building, engineering, wholesale, retail, financial and public service sectors. Companies vary from single employees upwards with turnovers from £25k to over £10m per annum. We are experienced at working with Clients who trade internationally in a mixture of currencies.
Services are provided in a manner most convenient to you. We can work at your premises or gather your data and work off-site. Services are designed so there is very little effort required on your part.
Services are delivered locally in the midlands. We provide you with a dedicated point of contact and will gain an understanding of your company ensuring we deliver a personal service to meet your needs. Our team has a variety of skills and we will match your needs to the most appropriate member of the team.
Who is Swann Systems?
The Swann Systems story
Swann Systems established born in September 2002 and has the ethos to assist small business owners with their accounts and bookkeeping needs. We all learn from our mistakes, but it is always good to learn from others. Swann has always in the background supporting and helping as required.
The Swann Teams breadth of knowledge spans all aspects of running a small business:
From Sheila who in 1993 was introduced to SAGE DOS version, she had 2 small children and spent the evenings inputting 6 months of accounts. She had an excellent, supportive accountant and as Sheila had never done accounts before found that she had entered the data incorrectly twice. After the 3rd time of inputting 6 months of data, it was correct. Sheila vowed at that point that she would make sure that nobody else would go through the same trauma she had been through and would be there to support small business owners.
She continued assisting her partner from 1993 until 2002 in an IT Services Company, they were a SAGE Solution Centre and specialised in IT support and SAGE training. Sheila processed all of the accounts for both the limited company and partnership gaining a lot of expertise in supporting business owners.
Swann was hatched or fledged in 2002 after Sheila found herself a single mum and needed to provide for the children. The original ethos has been continued throughout, assisting small business owners at any point of their business journey. Helping them in not making easy mistakes and always being there as their helping hand. Whether that be for accounts or payroll – for the things that only happen occasionally, the regular stuff or just a call away to discuss how to deal with a problem.
From 2007, Swann has employed the services of fully trained bookkeepers who are experts in various specific business sectors to make sure that every client is cared for in the ‘Swann’ team.
We are always striving to provide the best service we can to all of our clients. Endeavouring to keep up with the changes within the accounting and business world.
It is always a pleasure to look after our current clients and welcoming a new client is an exciting time for us, as every business is different.
